What events can you provide musicians for?
We can cater for all events. Private, wedding, corporate and public.
Can I listen to one of your acts/artists?
All of our acts/artists have MP3s on their profile pages
How much does each act/artist cost?
Each act/artist is priced differently. If you can let us know what your budget is then we can recommend appropriate acts/artists for that price range.

When is payment due?
Once you have decided which act/artist you would like to book we will check their availability and if they are available we will take a 10% deposit to secure the booking. Bookings will be held without deposit for a maximum of 14 days. The remaining balance in due 30 days before the act/artist is due to perform.
What if I need to cancel?
In the event of cancellation the following fee scale will apply:
Between 60 – 90 days from the performance date – 20% of the total fee is payable.
Between 30- 60 days from the performance date – 50% of the total fee is payable.
Within 30 days from the performance date – 100% of the total fee is payable.
What will the act/artist need?
Each act/artist has specific needs and requirements but generally speaking the act/artist will need to know; the nature of your event, the date, the location, the venue, the arrival times, sound check time, what times they are to perform and if you can provide for them with food and drink if necessary or appropriate.
Are all your acts/artists professionals?
All the acts/artists we represent are professional acts and have been performing at high profile events, corporate functions, weddings and parties for several years. We are very strict on our submission procedure, and are confident that all of our acts understand the on/offstage rules as
appropriate. This means that as well as conducting themselves well musically on stage, they are also approachable, polite and maintain a professional image when not performing.
How long does an act/artist play for?
This is something that will be discussed when you book the act/artist as it is specific to each act/artist and each occasion. For example party bands at a wedding normally play 2 x 45 minute sets. Most of the time this is sufficient but if you require more time then this can easily be arranged for an agreed fee. We would be happy to discuss this with you in more detail.
Can we have an act/artist that plays background music during the wedding dinner/reception?
Many of our acts/artists can provide this service. Some acts/artists (usually bands) can also provide a cut down version of the ensemble booked (for the evening event) for an afternoon background jazz or pop set, either as a solo pianist, solo guitarist or a duo. If your chosen act does not offer this then we can provide you with an alternative.
What kind of band do you recommend for a corporate function?
A corporate function can be different to a wedding or party. At Crystal Productions we have provided numerous acts to the corporate sector. We can fit the entertainment around the theme of the evening and provide you with a variety of eclectic and dynamic acts that will create a lasting impression. If you tell us what you want then we will provide it!
Where are your acts/artists based?
We are a national agency, and our acts/artists are based all across the country. As the acts/artists are constantly travelling around the UK, they are often able to travel to your location easily and it can often work out more economical for you if they are playing near your event the day/night before. We are also able to provide you with acts/artists that are based in your local area which can help to keep travel costs down. The quotes you will receive from us will include any travel costs that the
act/artist will incur.
How can I see an act/artist play before I book them?
All our acts/artists are performing regularly and often in public engagements such as clubs, bars and restaurants. If you are keen to see your act/artist perform live then we are happy to provide you with information about any of their upcoming public performances for you to attend.
How do I secure a booking?
Our policy is to contract every booking. Therefore, when you decide to book an act/artist we will send you a booking form and use this to put a contract together. This contract agrees the terms that we have negotiated with you and the act/artist, which we sign as the booking agent and you sign as the client. We then send a separate contract to the act/artist to commit them to the agreed dates, fees and other details and take a deposit to secure the booking.

What kind of acts/artists do you provide?
We can provide any genre of music. Even if it what you are looking for is not on our list! We have a large bank of acts/artists that we can call on to provide you with exactly what you need, so please do tell us what you are after and we will do all we can to get it sorted for you.
Can we see a list of songs that each act/artist will play?
Yes, on each profile page their is a list of current repertoire for each act/artist.
Will they learn songs that are not on their playlist? Like a first dance?
Many acts/artists will learn a song for you if they have the time to rehearse it and fully prepare. Some acts/artists will already know your requested song but have not played them recently or have them in their current repertoire, so please ask.
How long does it take for an act/artist to set up?
This depends on the size of the act/artist and how easy it is for the act/artist to load in their equipment to the venue. We can provide specific get in times for each of our acts/artists so please get in touch.
Which areas/genres do you cover?
We cover all genres, and subject to availability and price, our acts can cover all locations throughout the UK and Europe.
